Western League Division One: Keynsham Town 7-2 Middlezoy Rovers
MIDDLEZOY Rovers suffered a heavy defeat at the weekend away from home against Keynsham Town.
Their match in the Toolstation Western League Division One ended 7-2 as the Rovers were outplayed on the day.
The hosts took an early lead as they scored in the fifth minute through Jaheim Allen, and they had a second in the 15th minute when Bradley Selwood scored.
Tyler Linton made it three for the home side before half time and in the second period Joe Davis scored a hattrick and Javier Blazquez wrapped it up for Keynsham.
Jordan Lovibond and Liam Winter were the goal scorers for Middlezoy in the defeat.
The result leaves Middlezoy Rovers in 11th place in the league table with three games remaining this season.
They have to take on Wells City first up on April 18 at home, then following that they take on Radstock and then Bradford Town.
Elsewhere, Middlezoy Reserves won 1-0 over Westfield at the weekend with Zak Ryder scoring the goal.
This made it 11 undefeated matches now for the Reserves as results go their way and they move back into the promotion places.
