ENMORE Seniors ended their summer season of matches on a high note.

With captain elect Paul Waplington in charge, Enmore hosted the seniors from Cricket St. Thomas and ran out convincing winners by six games to two.

There were two ‘dog licence’ wins by Kevin Tutill with Jim Smith and Peter Attwood with Ray Lukeski (both by 7and6) - other scores were Paul Waplington with David Pascoe (6and5), Tony Snelling with John Newell (4and2), Gordon Tizzard with Derek Kelly (1up), whilst Ken Woodland with Ray Hancock and Tim Smith with Jim Potticary both registered half points.

The only group not to register were John Rigler with Roger Anniss who lost to the last putt on the final green.

The 4BBB Turkey Troy was won by D Pascoe and I Edwards with 42 points, one ahead of E Boyce and C Marsh in second. P Roderick and R Tracey had the best of the 40 points to finish third.

On November 1, the gents played their Turkey Trot on Sunday with Dylan Nyce leading the way with 41 points

Terry Warburton won the Seniors' Turkey Trot with 39 points on November 3.

The next day, the Pro Shop Betterball event was won by Chris Hannam and Di Dee with 43 points, two ahead of Karen Flannagan and Madge Wakefield in second.
