Shapwick and Polden 2nd XI 100 lost to Bristol 2nd XI 271-8 by 171 runs
SHAPWICK and Polden 2nd XI are also rooted to the bottom of the table following another heavy defeat on Saturday.
Chasing 271 to win, only Dan Rudge (43) got to grips with the Bristol attack as Shapwick crumbled to 100 all out.
James Spearing (12) was the next highest scorer for the away side, while Vir Lakhani (4-19) did the majority of the damage for Bristol.
Lakhani also starred with the bat, top scoring with 76 in an imposing total.
Louie Shaw (55) and Charlie Alsop (51) also chipped in with half-centuries to set up a commanding win for Bristol and a tenth defeat of the season for Shapwick and Polden.
