SOUTH West Soccer Academy has joined forces with Championship football team Norwich City to help raise funds for two local charities.
The academy will be holding a charity training event at Bridgwater College Academy on July 5, 10.30am—1.30pm for under 9s-under 13s.
There will be two training sessions – 10.30am-12pm for under eight, nine and ten, then from 12pm-1.30pm for under 11, 12 and 13s.
The 90 minute training sessions cost £5 per child with all the proceeds divided between the Sure charity, which funds specialist cancer equipment for the Musgrove Park Beacon cancer centre - and Leukemia and Lymphoma research.
