CRAZY Bunch ended Hazelnuts’ unbeaten run in Division 4 of the Bridgwater Town and District Skittles League, winning by 30 pins at the Globe, Cannington.
Hazelnuts lead the division by one point from Jack’s Boys, winners by 41 at the Foresters, and George Inn by 20 at the Crown Inn.
B&A’s won by 11 at the Market against Generators, Jack Dennison hitting 90 including two 16s and two 17s. Second place Harvest Moon won by 20 at the Castle Club, all eight players 62 and above, and APS by 34 at home to Breakaways.
In Division 2, there were wins for Wanderers, by 43 at home to Travellers, Phil Owen 83, Daydreamers, by 26 at the Blake Hall, Lamb Inn A, by 20 at Spaxton, and Morehens, by 24 at the Bunch of Grapes.
Pigeon Shooters lead Division 3 after winning by nine at home to Odds and Sods.
Athelney won by 50 at the 37 Club, Dave Saturley 80, Rams by 54 at the Sedgemoor Inn, while Grim Reapers won by a pin at Hardy Sports.
Four teams are top on 16 points in Division 5. Livin on a Spare won by 12 at the White Hart, Cameron Wilkinson 82 with four spares, Villistines by 46 at the Squib against Admirals, and Sarah’s Swingers by seven at the Thatchers Arms.
