BRIDGWATER College Golf recently played in the Intercollegiate Golf Tour, Players Championship Regional Qualifier Round Three.
After dropping six shots in the first three holes around the home course, Team BC's Jack Dray rescued himself and kept in the top ten of the Tour Players Championship finishing with a 75 gross.
Out in 40 shots and back in 35, a birdie three at seventeen helped keep him in the top ten.
The best score of the day came from James Smith with a 69, followed by Rhys Edwards, Dom Patton and Ronnie Mitchell on 71.
Ron Macrow, Team BC Golf Director said: “This was a very good performance from Jack, after a start, which last year would have led to a score in the mid-eighties, he kept calm and ground out his score, giving himself every chance with two rounds to go, of making the Players Championships in May.”
