A THREE-WAY tie exists at the top of Division 5 of the Bridgwater Town & District Skittles League between Admirals, who won by eight pins at the Sportsman, Villistines, winners by 69 pins at the Squib, and Non Starters, who lost to Coates Club by seven pins at the Thatchers Arms.

In Division 1, leaders B&As won by a single pin away at the Blake Arms, second-placed Harvest Moon won by one pin at West India House, Generators won by two pins at the Market and Lynchers won by 580-552 at the Ring O’Bells against Halfway Boys.

Six players from Lynchers managed to score 70 or more.

Daydreamers won by 29 at the Commercial to top the second division, Lamb Inn A won by three at Spaxton, Lambs won by 47 at the Malt Shovel, and Wembdon Crickets won by 18 at the Mansion House.

TFL head Division 3 after winning by 51 away to Rebels, Pigeon Shooters won by 37 pins at the Harvest Moon and the biggest win of the week was by Odds and Sods, who win by 77 pins away to Moonrakers.

Hazelnuts won by 56 pins at the Globe, Cannington, to head Division 4, second-placed Jack’s Boys won by nine pins at the Foresters, Boldy’s Army won by 13 pins away to Pethy Boys and Warriors won by 41 pins away at the Lions Club.
