Jupiter 58, Bournemouth 40

WITH a different line-up, Jupiter took to the court for their second home game of the season against Bournemouth.

Having lost to Bournemouth twice last season, Jupiter were hopeful to make this their first win against them.

The first quarter started tentatively with neither team dominant.

Jupiter worked hard to try and make an impact on the game - however, lack of inches in Jupiter's defence meant that they ended the quarter 11-11 and required tactical changes to be made.

With a change in the defensive circle, Jupiter went out determined to have a stronger quarter.

Great pressure and elevation from player of the match, Sammy Kemmish (GK), gave Jupiter opportunities to capitalise on Bournemouth's mistakes.

This, along with fast yet controlled play down the court, allowed Jupiter to build a well-earned lead going into the final quarter eight goals ahead.

The final quarter saw some of Jupiter’s best play – as the away team started to tire, Jupiter dug deep in order to keep and increase their lead.

Great vision from Baylea Charles (C) resulted in key passes into Jupiter’s shooting circle, and welltimed movement, finished with brilliant accuracy from Paige Davey (GS), allowed Jupiter to win 58-40.

The match was sponsored by Windsor Catering.
