BRIDGWATER Town manager Richard Fey has urged his side to find their best form as they head into busy period of league fixtures.

The Robins play six midweek fixtures on the bounce, starting with a trip to Wimborne tonight (Tuesday) – and Fey wants to amass 30 league points as quickly as possible, following Saturday’s 1-1 home draw with Fleet Town.

He said: “We had all the possession on Saturday but couldn't get the second goal.

“Again we conceded another goal from outside the box, when they scored from a 20 yard free-kick, but I can't fault the boy’s commitment and desire.

“We should have won the game and on another day we would have - but we have six Tuesday night fixtures on the bounce now, so games will be coming thick and fast and we want to get to 30 points ASAP.”

Bridgwater travel to AFC Totton on Saturday, before welcoming high-flying Merthyr the following Tuesday.

Fey’s side currently sit in 17th place in Calor League South & West, with 11 points from nine games.
