Somerset Cricket Board Intermediate Cup Final
Bridgwater II 134-7 beat Staplegrove 125-5 by nine runs
BRIDGWATER II were crowned Somerset Intermediate Cup champions following a narrow nine-run victory over Staplegrove at Taunton’s County Ground on Sunday.
Batting first, Bridgwater could only muster 134-7 thanks to 44 from Ali Witts – but a solid bowling performance proved to be the match-winner for Bridgy as they restricted Staplegrove to 125-5 from their 20 overs to secure the trophy.
