LAST week, Enmore Park members took advantage of perfect conditions to post some amazing scores in both the Monks Cup/Seniors Club Championship and the Club Medal/Waddon Cup.

Dave Bernard shot a gross 75 to capture the Seniors Club Championship and Barry Webster had the round of the day, and maybe his life, shooting a 77 gross / nett 61.

Barry Clapperton took second place with an equally impressive 63.

Cornishman Dave Pascoe also shot a gross 77 off 13 to finish third, but will remember the day for his Ace at the second and bar bill.

Seniors captain John Newell is back on form after his putting lesson last week, suffering for some time on the greens, he now seems to of overcome the putting demons and posted a nett 65.

An incredible 24 players beat their handicap – and in the following day in the men's medal, 30 people beat par with some exceptionally good performances.

County Junior Taylor Stote playing off three, shot the low round of the year 65 gross to win division one and the Waddon Cup.

Tim Woodley won division two with a nett 63 and reducing his handicap down three to 13.

Alex Hill took the Enmore Park Junior Open title with a fantastic 97 nett 66. He finished 2 shots clear of Kieren Buckley, who finished 2nd on count back in front of Freddie Sexton (Mendip Golf Club).
