BRIDGWATER Town mananger Richard Fey said Saturday's defeat to Paulton followed a similar theme to that of previous weeks, as his side were unlucky to take nothing from the game.

Fey felt his Robins side had the better chances throughout the 90 minutes, but were unable to find the finishing touches.

He said: "We created the better chances like we did at Mangotsfield on Tuesday night and dominated the second half, but lady luck was on their side and they held out to win the game.

“We were missing Daine (O’Connor) and Alex Faux, so had to juggle things a round and youth team captain Michael Duffy made a big impact and did really well.

“Paulton are a experienced side and were at full strength, despite what was put in local press, I think that was just to try and take the pressure off a bit, but they are sat in the play offs with a few games to go and I think it’s going to go down to last game of season.”

Town travel to Bishop's Cleeve on Tuesday evening (April 15) before hosting Fleet on Saturday (April 19).
