Enmore Park Golf Club organised a non-qualifying competition for members last Sunday despite the challenging weather conditions.

The green's staff did an amazing job to keep enough holes open to play the nine competition, which Paul Martin won with 21 points, one ahead of second-placed Alan Clarke, while Sean Jones was third with 19.

The Somerset Golf Captains were due to hold the Spring Meeting at Enmore Park Golf Club on Thursday 11 April 2024. Due to the adverse weather conditions sadly the event had to be postponed, however the AGM went ahead at which long time Enmore member Mike Rossiter was given the badge of office for 2024-25.

Many congratulations to Mike on his appointment as Captain of Somerset Captains, which is a proud moment as he is the fourth Enmore Club Captain to hold the office. Everyone at Enmore is honoured that Mike has been recognised in this way.

Enmore Park Golf Club opened its doors to the public on Sunday, 24 March, for its much-anticipated Open Day. With fair weather blessing the event, attendees were treated to golf course tours, food and beverages, expert tuition, and exclusive membership offers.

The highlight of the Open Day was the opportunity for guests to see and play the renowned Enmore Park course. From seasoned golfers to newcomers, participants had the chance to explore the maintained fairways, challenging greens, and picturesque Quantock Hills that define this premier golfing destination.

In addition to showcasing the course, the Open Day featured expert tuition sessions led by Enmore Park's skilled and experienced golf professionals. Attendees received personalised coaching, tips, and guidance to improve their game and enhance their overall golfing experience.
