THERE'S plenty going on at Bridgwater Arts Centre in March and April.

Proceedings will get under way with a performance from guitarist Albert Lee, who has worked with The Everly Bros, Eric Clapton and Emmylou Harris.

The country rock artist's show on March 11 is already sold out due to high demand.

But there's lots more to enjoy, ranging from folk-rock and a Cat Stevens tribute to a leading classical pianist and recitalist.

The Tin Giants + Wickenwood (March 22)

Tin Giants are a progressive folk-rock band with roots established in Anglo-European and Celtic traditions, performing traditional, contemporary and original songs and music.

The Tin Giants share decades of skilled musicianship and award-winning songwriting and you may recognise several former members of folk rock band Shave the Monkey in the line-up. Tickets will cost £12.

Emily Portman and Rob Harbron (March 29)

Emily Portman & Rob Harbron both have award-winning reputations as performers, composers and recording artists.

Now they have formed an inspired new collaboration in which they delve into English folk traditions.

Emily is best known as an original songwriter and for her work with acclaimed folk band The Furrow Collective.

Rob tours with Leveret, Jon Boden and many more, being in great demand as one of the finest multi-instrumentalists in the UK. £15.

Jonny Hepbir Trio (April 13)

Jonny (guitar) is joined by fellow guitarist Jason Henson and accordionist Pete Watson to offer an eclectic fusion of French Waltz, Latin, Tango and Django, plus a few surprises.

A feast of fine Jazz to enjoy. This concert will support the League of Friends at Bridgwater Community Hospital. £15.

Sarah Beth Briggs (April 19)

Pianist Sarah Beth Briggs is a leading recitalist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician.

Her professional career was launched at the age of eleven when she became the then youngest-ever finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year.

She has been the featured soloist at major British venues including Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, London’s South Bank Centre, and the Barbican Centre. £15.

Guitar Legends (April 20)

The Guitar Legends will mesmerise you with the greatest guitar hits of all time!
From the early 1950's to present day.

Featuring tracks from the world's most legendary guitarist, including: Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, BB King, Brian May, Hank Marvin, Gary Moore, Carlos Santana, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Dave Gilmour, Slash and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Keith James presents songs by Yusuf/Cat Stevens (April 27)

During the early 1970s, the amassed body of music from this hugely popular and sincerely loved singer/songwriter made for a collection of 'must have' records across a whole generation.

Keith James is a long standing and well-respected concert performer who reflects on the timeless and insightful music of Cat Stevens, from his early pop career, life threatening illness and spiritual journey around a performance of his beautifully-crafted and memorable songs. £18.
