A COMEDIAN who has become infamous for her character impersonation of a stereotypical Conservative MP will soon visit Bridgwater as part of her UK tour.
MP Rosie Holt will perform her That's Politainment! show at the McMillan Theatre on Thursday, April 25.
The gig will walk the tightrope between politics and entertainment at over 20 venues across the UK.
Tickets to her Bridgwater show can be purchased from £20 through the McMillan Theatre website.
A spokesperson for the tour said: "A character-driven show, Rosie Holt: That’s Politainment! analyses the blend of politics and entertainment in today’s public sphere.
"Political-satirist Rosie Holt explores current political trends audiences will too often recognise, as she brings some much needed comic relief to them.
"She’s at the top of her game and this is a show not to be missed."
MP Rosie Holt herself said: “I am so excited to be going on tour again and reminding everyone why this government is great.”
