FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a Bridgwater basement.
Two crews attended the incident, at a property in Castle Street, at around 3am this morning.
"Upon arrival crews confirmed the fire in the basement of a four-storey property which they extinguished using breathing apparatus, a safety jet and a hose reel jet, and then ventilated using a fan," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman.
"The cause of the fire was accidental."
