A FATHER and son from Bridgwater took part in a charity challenge in memory of a close friend.
Steve Darch and Matt Darch walked the Two Moors Way from Wembury in South Devon to Lynmouth in North Devon, which is a total of 116 miles across both Dartmoor and Exmoor.
The pair were raising funds for St Margaret’s Hospice in Taunton and dedicated their walk in memory of their close friend, Phill Evans.
A total of £2058.33 was raised and donated in a cheque presentation to community fundraiser for the hospice, Julie Draper.
Steve and Matt would like to thank everyone who sponsored and supported them throughout their walk.
Julie Draper said: "We are extremely grateful to Steve and Matt for this fantastic donation and for completing such a fantastic challenge.
"It was a real pleasure to meet them both."
