MORE than £2000 was raised for charity during an soul & jazz funk night in Bridgwater recently.
Former club DJ Keith Rawle and friend Martin Sellick got together at Christmas when friends and family persuaded them to put on the disco night at Bar 27.
The night in aid of the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Hospital proved so popular that they were able to present a cheque for £2000.62 to the centre last week.
Martin and Keith said it was a huge success and a great night was had by all, we would like to thank everyone for there generosity and support on the night.
Following the success of the disco night the friends are now hoping to raise even more funds through another charity disco event which will be announced later in the year.
